Somethings Never Change....

My Friendship with Amanda is one of them!!! From the day we met we have been the greatest friends....smiles, laughs, wine, tears, babies and oh so much more! We had playdate with the kiddos and they just add to our story!!! Amazing friendships, make amazing memories!
all the kiddos wanted to sit on Amanda at dinner!

Eva B in her hoodie!! love it!

Getting the three of them to smile and pose for a picture was impossible!! So we take what we can get!

I hope CC and Eva will be great friends as they grow up!

Captures it all!!! Had so much fun!

Reading Time:) CC in Heaven!

College Girl

LOVE LOVE this picture.....sweet innocent little girl looking out over the campus!!!
Claire loves "college"....here is a turkey asking people to write things they are thankful for on the poster...just random things like this that make college so memorable!

On Top of the HILL....this is the parking deck I parked in when I lived off campus, the parking pass my parents bought me was probably one of my most priced possessions!!

Walked this sidewalk nearly everyday.....Business school is on the opposite side of the campus as the Chi Omega house

Silly "college" girl!!

Picture by Momma's name (wouldn't sit still by her daddy's)...proof I graduated!! Ha!

Then CC decided to do some college girl poses.....Hilarious!!!

We looked at all the composite pictures at the Chi O house and Claire decided she needed to lean against the tree like the college girls....

Mimi and Claire....poses like college girls!!!

And guess what...college girls wear backpacks....so who wanted their backpack??? LOVE IT!!!

Aunt Memee holding the college girls hand

Playing at the Chi Omega Greek Theatre

She wanted to sing on stage!!!

Just Playin Around....

My grandparents sponsored this room in the new business school building and so we took Annabel and Claire to take a picture to show my grandparents...it would make them happy they visited!

It was an absolutely beautiful day on campus!

Hugs!!!

Chi Chi House

Oh, the stories these walls could tell if they could talk!! Marvelous memories!!! My Mom lived here and Emily and I both lived here. Aunt Biz was a Chi O at UALR. So Annabel and Claire have quiet the legancy along with great aunts too!! Claire made her first visit to the Chi Omega House at the UofA...or as CC calls it "college". She is all about college girls and everything about college. I am not sure if I told this story but a few weeks ago when we visited Annabel we drove through the UofA and I told CC that is where we went to college and she said where was I while you were at college and I said you were with God and she said Well, Momma I missed you while you were in college...implying maybe I was not "with God" during that time. It was quiet funny!!! and I guess sad at the same time.
Claire also calls it the "Chi Chi House"

Knocking on the door...

I hope one day she calls this "home"!

I think these were some homecoming decorations left over from the week before

Sitting on the lawn.....

She got Aunt Biz to join her...

Two Future Chi Omegas

Momma and her girl!!! She looks so big to me!!

Kiss for Mom!

All the girls that live in the house sign there dressers...I went to my old room...and look what I found! Such great times!!!

Claire can sing the Chi O chant...Chi Omega Chi Chi Omega....only it comes out more like...Chi O Meka Chi Chi O Meka!!! It is super cute!!

School Pictures

Claire's Pre-School One School pictures! I was so happy with them! The above picture is her "laughing" smile. The one below is her "sweet" smile!! Both make my heart smile!!!

Woo Pig Sooie!

Nick took CC to her second HOG game...she was a little sick...but she still learned how to call those HOGS!!! It sounds like "Woo Pig Zoe"!!! Too Cute!!!

She was living it up in a box at the Razorback Game a few weeks ago!!! She visited this same box for the first time when she was only a couple weeks old. I bet she enjoyed it a little more this time!

Letter to Claire

Letter to Claire:

I know this is a little late because you turned three years old a month ago but this is your scrapbook...your life. I hope one day you have these books of stories and pictures and enjoy each thought and memory they bring. You teach me so much about life I just have to stop and smile sometimes. This week you have been home sick, your asthma flared up again...yes, you have been diagnosed with asthma and now have to be on daily medicine to prevent any more attacks. I think you are 3 going on 13...and I am being serious!!! You vocabulary blows my mind, you talk like such a little grown up! You told me the other day that the storm in Pippy Longstocking made you nervous! What 3 year old says nervous? maybe scared, but nervous!! And you are so bright...which is causing a little problem in the discipline area, you are quick to change the subject if you know you are about to get in trouble. You think its fun to say the word "poop", so after a couple of time outs, you learned you are not suppose to say that word...so now if you start to say it you quickly say "winnie the pooh" to cover it up!! Clever, I would say...but this Momma caught on real quick!! You love to sing and want to listen to your music in the car. You have an exceptional memory, still love, love, love books, stickers, coloring, baby dolls, band aid addict, princesses, playing outside, and watching movies. You still line everything up in rows...very organized I would say. Want to be completely independent...dress yourself, bath yourself, everything is "do it myself"! I give it 6 months before you know how to completely spell your name...you know it starts with a "C". You are strong willed....I got a phone call at work that you kicked one boy and hit another in the jaw all because they would not move off the place you wanted to sit....needless to say, a lot of talking too, a time out, wooden spoon, and no movies later I think you understood we don't just act that way. On a positive note, you are pretty good with you manners. You have got "please" and "thank you" down and the "mams and sirs" are coming along! So proud! You love going to church and to school, you love your friends! This was even your first year of church choir!....still working on standing still while we sing. Speaking of standing still....you don't know how to do that...you are constantly moving and constantly doing something!! Even sitting in your chair at the dinner table becomes a little bit of a task! There are so many wonderful things about the little girl you are that I could write until my fingers fall off...I am going to try and get better with all the funny little everyday stories again....like today, you had a little toy mirror sitting on your bookshelf, you were looking in it pretending to fix your hair! too funny! You have learned so much in your pre-school class, academically you are doing great....working on the discipline!!!...trying to get stickers three days in a roll so you can pick out of the treat bucket has served a bit challenging!

Above all us else you are amazing little girl that brightens my heart and my world everyday!!! I can only hope that I can half of the mother to you that you are the daughter to me!!!! I love you baby girl!!!!.....one night I told "I love you" and you said "you didn't say baby, say baby Momma"! As fast as you are growing....always you will be my baby girl!!!!

XOXO~ Momma
