Fun with Friends

A couple weeks ago CC had so much playing with Marley, Macy, and Henry!!! The John Deere tractor came out that night and she hasn't stopped driving it since....it even has to be parked in the garage in "its spot"...next to my car. If you notice CCs hair looking a little wild lately it is because she tells me that she wants to wear it "crazy" like Marley's. So by the end of the day when we wear our hair "crazy" it looks like a tangled mess!! Oh well!! Only a toddler once!

87 years apart

My Grannie turns 90 this week and CC turns 3!!! It is wild to me to think of how different the lives of these two women will be. My dear grandparents also celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this past week! WOW!!! Is all I can say....4 kids, 10 grand kids, and 15, going on 16, great grand kids! The love they share and the lessons they have thought us are so cherished.

We stopped by to see them on Labor Day weekend and Grandpa gave CC a little flag....now every time we see a flag she tells me Grandpa gave her one of those, but hers is little, not big!

Claire loves playing with all of Grannie's "toys"...seasonal decorations and stuffed teddy bears that is! This trip she took a liking to a scarecrow! Silly girl!

New Tricks

CC is loving doing new tricks on her playground!....with some assistance from Nene of course!

Awaiting Annabel

Claire is going to be a cousin in a couple weeks!!! We can't wait to meet sweet Annabel! Aunt Emme had a beautiful shower in Little Rock several weeks ago and Baby Annabel got lots of precious things! We are so ready for her arrival, hope its soon!

Nothing sweeter than a sleeping....baby girl

She had to wear my socks to bed one night!....they were still on when she woke up!

There is still nothing sweeter than a sleeping child!!! I could stare at her for hours, so SWEET!!!
This little girl melts my heart everyday and boy can she make you laugh!!! This morning I asked her to take off her gown and get dressed, “Momma, its pajama day!!”…..no Claire it’s not! The words and sentences she says blow me away…told me she had “plenty” of milk…she had a “wonderful” day! Her facial expressions are priceless!!! Can’t wait to capture them in pictures!

HUGE MILESTONE this week…….NO MORE “Pap Pap”, not even at night. Can’t believe she actually gave them up and it was not half the ordeal I thought it would be. When she asked for it Sunday night, I just told her I couldn’t find it….then I asked her what it would take for her to never see it again and she said a silly book. So the next day we went to Wal Mart and she picked out a book. She asked for the next night and I said you have your silly book instead (it’s really a princess book….big into princesses right now) and she just said ok. That was that!!!! ….the only thing “baby” about her now is night time diapers, makes this Momma a little sad.

This week was also her first week of “homework”. One night we had to learn her birthday and the next night she had to pick out name out of about 15!!! She did great!!! So proud!!
