Eden Isle

We spent a little time at Eden Isle 4th of July weekend. We did all kinds fun things! I just love sharing this little piece of heaven with CC. Eden Isle has to be one of the most peaceful places in Arkansas!!! Swimming in the baby pool....just her size!

We went on walk but CC ended up pushing the stroller instead of being pushed in the stroller...the next walk the stroller didn't go at all. I was so impressed she run all the way around the circle with me, such a big girl!

I just love this park because it has "old school" playground equipment....I even let CC push me, I think she had more fun with that...

CC is into climbing on everything these days!!!

First Trip to the Dentist

This week Claire had her first trip to the dentist and she did great!!! I think it helped a ton that "Spence's Mommy", Mrs. Jennifer was the one "cleaning" her teeth. This picture captures it perfectly....nervous and excited at the same time! CC got a clean dental check, go back in 6 months!!!!

Claire & Mackenzie

For those of you that don't know Mackenzie is Claire's best friend. They have been in daycare together since they were 5 months old and are inseparable these days. CC went to Mackenzie's house for the first time a few weeks ago, they played and even had lunch at McDonalds. She has been asking to go back ever since!! ....and of course, Miss Fashion had to pick out her our shoes for her playdate!!! Ha!

  Still addicted to her “pap pap’s”…I know it’s past time to break this habit
  • Her best friend is Mackenzie….she had first play date at her house two weeks ago
  • Says thank you, please…and for the most part has good manners
  • BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS….wants to sleep with them, take them swimming, when we go walking…LOVES BOOKS!
  • Great Swimmer!!! Isn’t afraid of the water at all!
  • Loves going to the library
  • Loves going to the water park
  • I would say she eats like at rabbit….loves salad, carrots, celery, oranges, yogurt
  • Loves for her daddy to take her to get Icee’s
  • Still have not cut her hair
  • Always wants her toenails painted….very much a little girl!
  • Likes to pick out her own shoes
  • Her vocabulary is amazing to me…I asked her the other day if she needed more milk, she responded “no, thank you Mommy, I have plenty”…Really??
  • Has started calling me MOM and it makes her sound so old…I prefer Mommy
  • Loves babies and is always wanting to “pet” them
  • Loves stickers
  • Addicted to band-aids….she always wants two, one on each leg…no “boo boo” required
  • Has a very sweet heart
  • Tells you what is for girls and what is for boys…Princess are for girls and Spiderman are for boys
  • Facial expressions are priceless
  • Does have a little bit of a sharing problem, but overcomes it quickly
  • Will watch the same movie over and over again for several weeks then on to a new one, lately; Tangled, Charlotte’s Web, Beauty & the Beast, Snow White, Dora Christmas (yes, in July)
  • Started turning her head sideways when kissing…she says that is how Rapunzel kisses Funny girl!
  • Went to her first movie theater with Nene and Daddy; Cars 2 and Pooh…fell asleep watching Pooh
  • Favorite Candy are Reese’s Cups aka “Bunnies” & M&Ms aka “Humpty Dumpties”
  • Loves popsicles and would eat 10 a day if she could
  • Loves her family and her friends very much
