A beautiful afternoon meant we dyed eggs outside. Claire had so much fun throwing! the eggs in the glasses and then of course tasting the dye....I don't think it tasted very good but it didn't seem to bother her one bit....guess she likes vinegar:( Blonde hair and Blue Eyes and those curls!....makes me smile:)

Beautiful Weather+Beautiful Flowers+Beautiful Little Girl = An overload of perfect pictures

Egg Hunt I

Claire's First Big Egg Hunt of Easter 2010 was at her school. Not only did she hunt eggs but she played a little in between! Man, this little girl Loves being outside! The hunt was followed by a party where she shared the sugar cookies she made with all her friends. Heading outside for the big hunt
Miss Priss opened every egg before putting it in her basket:)

Taking a break from huntin eggs...
Could not go out on the playground and not play!!!

Miss Claire loves the slide...

...we might have to get a playground at home...

...would love to see the smile everyday while she plays.

Our New Cook

Claire signed up to make cookies for her Easter party at school, so we made homemade sugar cookies! Sugar cookies are her favorite! I am so happy we have a new cook in the kitchen!
"How am I doin Momma"?
Looking at her masterpiece

All good cooks must do a taste test...this little cook said you must prop your foot on the cooling rack to truly enjoy your all that slaving in the kitchen. :)

Our Helper

Miss Claire loves helping in the flowerbeds and working outside "outsi"; weeding, planting, watering...it doesn't matter what her "job" is she loves it! The other evening she wanted to be in charge of watering, so why not? She watered everything...the sky, the grass, the dogs, the concrete, and of course herself!!! She was having a blast...just one of those small moments that becomes one of life's cherished treasures.

Planting her plants....just lovin life!

Claire's Baptism

This past Sunday, Claire was BAPTIZED in our new church!! Praise the Lord! Don't get me wrong I feel with 100%+ certainty that all children our the children of the Lord, baptized or not; but I can' t tell you how full my heart is that we stood in front of our church and with our church congregation and many of our family members vowed to raise our daughter a Christian and for her to receive God's blessing! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful family that made the long trip to witness Claire's special day! She looked so sweet in her long white dress....she just would never look at me and smile...! March 28, 2010 - Claire's Baptism

So many wonderful gifts to mark the special occasion; a bible, handkerchief doll, silver cross, the most perfect picture frames, and garden tools (of course Claire's fav, thanks Auntie Liz)
